what the fuck

So I'm sitting here in the computer "laboratory" provisioned for us graduate students of the Dept. of Romance Langauges here at the academy and a member of the office staff searches me out to inform me that a doctor's office is on the line, having called the department's main phone number hoping to have someone here interpret for them over the phone for a Spanish speaking patient, and of course, for free.

I assume that those who need to receive this message are not reading this, and I probably prefer it that way, but if I could send a message to area physicians, it would be: If you need a Spanish interpreter, the academy is not the place to look, particularly not at the exact moment you need one, to say the very least...
