it's going

I don't know if I've got a cold or if it's just my allergies but either way I've got some cold symptoms. It's probably my allergies, what with the infinite supply of pollen here this time of year.

Tuesdays are long days for me and I have no insightful or interesting thoughts at the moment but felt like crapping out a few lines of text here anyway.

I dodged a bullet today by coincidence; one of my profs cancelled class, so I won't have to give a presentation on aspect and "meaning changing" verbs in Spanish until next week. Of course that day I have to give another presentation in a different class. It's all the same to me really. I can definitely use the extra week to prepare better.

I've got about three more weeks of hell and then the semester is over. Summer promises to keep me busy as I try to get my reading lists for comps created and get a head start on the reading thereof as well as designing a project for collecting some data for my thesis, not to mention doing plenty of interpreting and hopefully some translating too.

BUT not having classes will be very nice. That way I won't feel compelled to turn down a Monday night happy hour invitation like I did yesterday (sorry Todd and Lindsey.)
